• About Me

Alabama-born attorney Gene Warhurst got his start in the insurance industry in 1988 as a property and vehicle claims adjuster for The Hartford. Through the process of investigating, evaluating, and negotiating thousands of claims, he mastered the art of claims management in the insurance sector. Gene has worked his way up to the position of Senior Property, Car Accident, and Personal Injury Claims Manager, where he oversees a team of claims adjusters who deal with natural disasters, fires, business interruptions, and personal injuries. Gene has earned eight postgraduate national insurance designations, including the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter, or CPCU. Later, Gene worked as an insurance claims manager and went to law school at the same time. In 1995, he opened his own legal office after finishing school and passing the bar exam, defending clients in insurance disputes.

Gene now represents clients in a wide range of insurance claims, from those involving property damage (such as homes or businesses) to those involving personal injury (such as those arising from automobile, motorcycle, truck, or bicycle accidents) or wrongful death (involving the demise of a loved one). There is no fee for the first session whether you are a public adjuster or policyholder seeking legal advice and direction on a claim, or if you require legal representation for an injury claim, insurance claim, property claim, or vehicle accident claim. Gene's first career wasn't in insurance; he was a U.S. Army officer.
